Welcome to the customer beta for the next version of Revolution Design Software!

This beta is for existing customers, so if you have a current license with us you are all set, if not you can purchase a license off the main purchase page and then upgrade it to work with the beta.

In order to get started, you need to do just a few things:

  1. Get an account – If you have current cloud services, you already have an account and can use those credentials.  If not, you will need to create an account (it’s fast and free).
  2. Migrate your licenses – You can do this on the licenses page of the portal.  If you have cloud licenses from a previous version you will see a button up top to migrate them to the new system.  If you have standard licenses there is a section at the bottom to enter your key and migrate the license.  We will also keep your old licenses in place so you can continue to use older versions even after migration.
  3. Download the software!  Just use these links to download the beta builds:
    1. Keynote Manager
    2. Revit workFlow
    3. Selection Master

Data about your company account, users, etc. can now all be managed from the portal.  If you are a customer with us most of it should look familiar, but here is a brief description of each page of the portal (not that some pages may not be available for lower level user accounts):

  • Company Info – This is where you would change the name and options for your company.  Note that you can now set a license mode for either ‘Login Only’ or ‘Key or Login’.  If you set to login only users will be forced to log in instead of using a license key to activate their license (they can use the ‘remember me’ checkbox to avoid having to log in each time).  Forcing login will increase the analysis data available for tools that will be coming.
  • Licenses – This page will allow you to see and manage your license use.  Each license your company holds will be listed and can be expanded to see what users are currently using the license.  For standalone licenses you can also release them here (portable licenses will automatically release after 15 minutes without contact).
    • Note that standalone licenses are allowed to be released twice per seat per year, so if you have 5 standalone licenses you can release a total of 10 times per year.
  • Users – Manage the users within your company, set permissions, and add new users.
  • Keynote Masters – Manage master keynote files for keynote cloud services.  This also allows you to create new projects based on your masters.
  • Keynote Projects – Manage your Keynote Manager cloud services projects.  You may also expand a project to view and manage collaborators.
  • Collaboration – View projects that you have been invited to collaborate on.  If you have accepted the invitation you will see it in joined projects and can leave if you desire.  If you have not accepted it will be listed in pending projects and you can accept or decline.
